Solar Education Week 2017 - February 20th - 26th

The Idea

Solar Education Week is part of a national movement to spread the good news about solar energy to communities across the country. From coast to coast, community members, high school and college students will host solar education events the last week of February, sparking a coordinated national conversation about access to solar energy.

What is Solar Week?

On February 20th - 26th, 2017 RE-volv and our partners have put out a community call to promote, learn, discuss and collaborate on solar energy. So organize a meeting, a demonstration, a film viewing and post it on our site. And then get out there , organize, and together we can all build more solar!

Did you know that in the U.S. a new solar project was installed every two minutes in the first half of 2015? Or that the solar industry employs more than 208,000 people in the U.S., adding 35,000 jobs in 2015?

Access to solar power is critical for a just and equitable transition to 100% clean energy.  Join Solar Education Week to share the good news and increase demand for more solar in your community.
